Georgiana Wright

Georgiana Wright is a creative technologist and fellow for Parallax Futures, a program that trains practitioners to become conceptual technologists through the application of conceptual thinking to emergent technologies. Her fellowship project focuses on Synthetic Ferality, an experiment to flee from the normal practices of AI that only focuses on productivity and autonomy by providing an interactive medium for agents with “feral” traits.

Georgiana has previously worked at Apple, Microsoft Research, and Rockstar Games as a machine learning intern where she focused on building interactive prototypes that ranged from using generative AI for 3D avatar stylization to refining the game economy in Grand Theft Auto 5. She was a 2021 Black Ambition Prize HBCU winner, a Black Public Media NCU Fellow, and has dreams of building more interactive experiences catered to underrepresented women.
