Monika Bielskyte is a distinguished futurist and futures researcher whose endeavors span over a decade of extensive travel and engagement with the emergent future in more than 100 countries. As a world designer, Monika actively explores the frontiers of Science Fiction universes and has been commissioned by several major film productions and studios. Her illustrious clientele includes Universal, Google, Nike, DreamWorks, World Economic Forum, BBC, Microsoft, Mexico City, McKinsey, Anonymous Content, Reliance JIO, Telefonica, MTN, Huawei, TATA, and others.

Currently, Monika is developing a cutting-edge platform, protopiafutures, that facilitates research and creative collaborations aimed at challenging and providing alternatives to dystopian and utopian stereotypes. The platform's prototype, Protopia, embodies radically hopeful and inclusive futures that are shaped by the need for expanded futures literacy, and aims to counter the rise of disinformation and hybrid warfare in an era where the boundaries between the physical and digital worlds are becoming increasingly blurred.
